Using the E26, I appreciate its compact design, which made it easy to maneuver in tight spaces on building sites. However, the engine noise was notable during idle. The controls are intuitive, streamlining operations for new users. Fuel efficiency is another highlight of this model. It represents a solid choice for professionals.

I recently had the opportunity to operate the Bobcat E50, and I've got a few observations. First off, the power this machine offers for its size is commendable-it really gets the digging done efficiently. The cab design is spacious; even during extended use, I didn't feel cramped. However, while the noise suppression is solid, the auxiliary features, like the eco mode, seemed a tad perplexing to navigate initially. It’s a good choice, but every machine has its quirks.

I've been on quite a few different compact minis and the Bobcat E26 is pretty decent for its size. Used it on some trenching jobs lately. The bucket breakout force feels pretty solid, not everything but enough for what this class can do. Digging depth is alright for most work I do - not breaking any limits but gets the trenches done. The controls are smooth, but I wish the hydro lines weren't so exposed, just worry about banging them up on brush. The sealed cab version is good during the summer, AC actually seems to work okay, but the pressurization isn't perfect - still gets a little dusty. Service side of things is manageable, random parts are not always in stock but that's not just a Bobcat thing. Not the cheapest to rent compared to other minis this size, but nothing too wild either. For my usual small jobs, it gets the job done just fine.

I’ve had the E26 in tight spots, and it does get the job done. The smaller size helped us navigate restricted access areas without damaging the surroundings, though it does limit the digging reach in some instances. Maintenance-wise, it’s simple enough to address issues on-site, just keep an eye on the fluid levels regularly.
