The only positive is the engine brake which really works a lot but that's probably the only one!!!
And now the MINUSES
Camera over the blind spot — if you want to "snuggle" up to the car in front of you you have the option, it distorts and it's shit
Multifunction stalks totally shit
Instead of water you honk
Then the second automatic — when you put it in manual before a hill so you can shift, after a few minutes it changes to automatic... Like, seriously, and uphill with 39 t you need revs and you don't want it to decide and shift itself
The upper bunk elsewhere has more space than here
Even ♦️ is better and I thought it was in last place, no this one beat it
Tachograph — every truck has a 10s warning, here NO!!!! It records immediately!!!
If you're choosing a truck, avoid this one like the plague, you'll do yourself a favor

Advantages: Very large interior space, good fuel consumption, very quiet, well soundproofed, large lower bed, nice exterior, the space between the seats and the lower bed is spacious, nice interior, great navigation, spacious lateral storage boxes, quiet during maneuvers, and sensors.

Small details that are useful for the driver.
Interior disadvantages.
Small steps (two pairs of trainers don't fit on the step)
Few sockets, no USB-C cable, no bar above the bed to hang something to dry (only 2 hanger-like handles on the side next to the seats), no storage space (like nets) at the ends of the beds, the upper bed is small, no water bottle holder next to the driver, small refrigerator space (2 bottle holders in the fridge, but which are not for cooling water) which took away from the storage space, the driver's armrest adjustment space relative to the door is small.

More space but less storage space in the cab. Unfortunately the air conditioning is very weak. Even with the engine running you can't cool the cab when you're standing in the sun. Shady spots are simply rare. The parking A/C manages the 3h as stated in the description, not even close. Not recommended for long-haul transport

I've been driving the DAF XG+ for a couple of months now, and here's my take. The cab space is impressive, offering ample storage and a comfortable sleeper. However, I found the engine brake somewhat less responsive than I expected under heavy loads. The fuel efficiency is decent for its class, reaching about 2.2 km/l during my routes. Overall, it serves well, though engine noise insulation could be improved a notch.

Having tested the DAF XG+ for long hauls, I appreciated its advanced safety features and user-friendly controls. The TraXon transmission shifts smoothly, making highway drives a breeze. On the downside, accessing certain cab features while stationary felt somewhat restrictive. Yet, overall, it's a thoughtfully designed vehicle for professional use.
